writing letters

0 min read
I like writing letters, to people and to things and just in general. They help me organize my thoughts in a slightly logical progression, and when I have lots of thoughts I can get them all down somewhere without them getting disorganized or getting lost in the air, which happens when talking, or when communicating with the other person at all. hello, id appreciate if u listned to my acoustic songs if u have the time

Darkest Shade Of You is definitely my favorite, I see a lot more variation in it.

there's something about the cadence/rhythm of the lyrics v. guitar in Bittersweet during the verse that sounds a bit off. but I like the way it works in the chorus a lot. there are a couple times the pitch of your voice doesn't match the guitar. there is less variation in the song in this one also.

The Sweetest Thing. my favorite part is "I am fucked up, insecure and neurotic". It sounds a little bit more abstracted, harder to concentrate on. The phrase "Don't let the bed bugs bite" is a bit cliche. :/ and I feel like it ends really suddenly... I wasn't expecting it to be over when it was.

Despite my harsh critiquing (I am a harsh critic) it is still all excellent music. Quite impressive.
thanks! (i love your bird wire picture) xoxo
